St Rose Readies Performance Of ‘Getting To Know The Sound Of Music’
St Rose of Lima School is gearing up for a musical production of Getting To Know The Sound of Music, which will be staged at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street, on May 9 at 5 pm and 7:30 pm.
According to Director Keri Salustri, there are roughly 40 students in the production. Getting To Know The Sound of Music is a shorter “more age appropriate” version of the 1965 movie The Sound of Music.
“The Sound of Music is a classic iconic musical,” Ms Salustri, “and we are bringing it to a new generation of children.”
Both performances are open to the community to attend. Students have been rehearsing three days a week since January to bring the musical to the stage.
Tickets for the production can be purchased in advance online at srles.booktix.com. Tickets will also be available to purchase at the door. All tickets are $10.
