Cecilia M. Lukienchuk

Longtime Newtown Resident

Cecilia M. Lukienchuk, 88, of Newtown, died April 26, in Bethel Healthcare. She was born in Bridgeport, March 6, 1924, a daughter of Antonina (Panbinska) and John Wisinski. She was the wife of the late Paul Lukienchuk.

Mrs Lukienchuk was retired from Risdon Manufacturing. Previously of Stratford, Mrs Lukienchuk had been a resident of Newtown since 1965. She was a communicant of St Rose of Lima Church.

Survivors include a son, Paul S. Lukienchuk, and his wife Katherine, of Sandy Hook; a daughter, Susan Lukienchuk of Newtown; one granddaughter; and four great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, April 30. Interment was in Newtown Village Cemetery.

Honan Funeral Home, Newtown, was in charge of arrangements.
