Chase Collegiate School To Offer Summer Forensics Class

WATERBURY — Chase Collegiate School is set to offer “Forensic Investigation,” a course for rising seventh through tenth grade students, this summer from June 18 to August 17.

According to the school, the course will help students use logic and scientific inquiry skills to trace the steps of a criminal and determine whether the science accurately explains the crime. Students will learn how to collect evidence from various crime scenes, dust for fingerprints, process samples, and examine forged documents.

Chase’s campus will allow for area to stage scenes while science labs and Smart classrooms will provide equipment to solve the crime.
