NHS Golfers Compete

Newtown High School’s golf team fell to visiting Masuk of Monroe on April 25, shooting a 173 to Masuk’s 166, at the par 35 Rock Ridge Country Club on April 25. The Nighthawks rebounded with a win on the road against Stratford at the par 36 Mill River Country Club on Monday. Newtown shot a 176 and Stratford shot a 185.

Against Masuk, Newtown was led by Brian LeBlanc, who shot a 40, and was followed by Vivek Tedla with a 43, Chris Erikson with a 44, and Abbey Doski with a 46.

In the win over Stratford, Leblanc shot a 41, Tedla a 42, Erikson a 46, and Rob Marona a 47.
