*Tickets for BONNIE RAITT, with special guest Keb Mo, a concert at The Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford on July 16, will be on sale Friday morning at 10. Priced at $45, $60 and $75, the tickets will be available through LiveNation.com and from the theater’s box office.

Also on sale Friday morning will be tickets for POISON, who will rock the Dodge Music Center along with fellow 80s hairband CINDERELLA on August 9. Those tickets, at $17.50 for lawn seating and $25 and $35 for reserved seating, will also be available through LiveNation.com and the Chevrolet Theatre’s box office (the Dodge Center’s box office still has not yet opened for the season).

*DONNA SUMMER’s musical career encompasses over thirty years spanning a wide range of musical genres and making her one of the world’s most popular singers and songwriters. The woman who brought us the anthem “She Works Hard For The Money” will be performing at Mohegan Sun Arena on Wednesday, July 12, at 7 pm.

Tickets are $35 and will be going on sale Saturday, May 6, at 10 am, through TicketMaster only. Visit TicketMaster.com, call any TicketMaster charge-by-phone, or visit any TicketMaster outlet. Starting Sunday, May 7, tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun box office, subject to availability.

Also this weekend, Pollstar is posting that tickets for FIONA APPLE, who will be at the Arena, with Damien Rice opening, on July 24, will be going on sale. I can’t find a listing for this show on Mohegan Sun’s website, however, nor ticket prices.

*The first show announcement from Ives Concert Park in Danbury came in this week. Actually we heard mention of this show – THE STEVE MILLER BAND, with ERIC JOHNSON opening, on August 17 – last week, but didn’t have details about its on-sale information.

Premier Concerts announced this week that tickets for this concert will be going on sale Saturday morning at 9, set at $89 and $96 for reserved seating, and $35 for general admission/lawn seating.

Tickets will also be available at the Ives Concert Park box office Monday through Friday between 9 am and 4 pm. The box office will also be open the day of the concert from 9 am until noon. The box office is in WCSU’s Ancell School of Business, on the westside campus, in Room 200; for specific directions call 837-9226.

Discounts for seniors and groups are available through the box office only.

Until next week I’ll be seeing you... on the road.
