Newtown Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a Newtown resident.

Kathleen Cattano, 76, of 825 Brookside Court, was reported missing Tuesday, May 4.

Cattano drives a white 2018 Kia Forte, with Connecticut license plate AN60670.

She reportedly does not have a cell phone and her family “has no ideas of where she could have gone,” according to a post on the police department’s Facebook page.

Newtown Police Lieutenant Aaron Bahamonde is asking the public to contact the department if anyone sees Cattano or knows where she is. Information can be relayed to the police department at 203-426-5841.

“Please, if you see or may know of Kathleen’s whereabouts, please let us know. We are concerned for her well-being,” Bahamonde said.

Bahamonde confirmed to The Newtown Bee Wednesday morning that Cattano is still missing.

"We have nothing new to report," he said.
