Going To The Gong Show?

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Gong Show committee, I would like to extend an invitation to the entire Newtown community. In recent years, Newtown High School staff and students have been lucky to enjoy an evening filled with laughter, comedy, and fun.

This year, we have decided to donate the proceeds from this evening to a family here in Newtown. The family has a son in elementary school who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer, and we would like to help them out. In order to raise as much money as possible, we would like to encourage the Newtown community to come and see the show.

The Gong Show will be held on Saturday, May 7, at 7 pm in the Newtown High School auditorium. Tickets will be on sale that evening for $5 each, and all proceeds will benefit the family.
