Start preparing grocery lists now: the Newtown Farmers Market is set to open for the season on Tuesday, June 15.

Natalie McCraigh of Wonderland Jam — a market manager with Sue Shortt of Shortts Farm and Garden Center, Sean Fitzpatrick of Real Food Share, and Andrea Saunders of Crave Custom Cakes and Cookies — said in an e-mail on May 4 that the 2021 vendors list is being finalized.

The market will return to Fairfield Hills on Tuesdays from 2 to 6:30 pm. It will run through October, according to McCraigh.

The opening date was announced on The Newtown Farmers Market Facebook page and on its Instagram account, newtown_ct_farmers_market, as well.

The Newtown Farmers Market also has a website, newtownctfarmersmarket.com.
