The girls’ team took on host Bunnell of Stratford, Brookfield, and Immaculate of Danbury on May 3. The girls defeated Brookfield 98-52, toppled Immaculate 145-5, and lost to Bunnell 78-72.

The girls’ squad went to Pomperaug in Southbury to take on the host Panthers, along with Bethel and Notre Dame-Fairfield on April 28. Newtown defeated Bethel 97-53, topped Notre Dame 144-6, and lost 75.5-64.5 to Pomperaug.
