Save The Lake Day Planned For May 22

BRIDGEWATER — Friends of the Lake (Lillinonah) members are planning the Save The Lake Day 2010 for Saturday, May 22, from 9 am to 1 pm, rain or shine.

Save the Lake Day is an opportunity to join friends and neighbors in cleaning the shores and waters of Lake Lillinonah of garbage and debris. The event will kick off at 9 am at the Route 133 State Boat Launch.

Participants will be receive gloves, garbage bags, and tarps to go out in teams along the shoreline and in the lake via boat. Volunteers will later be treated to food and fun.
