An Opportunity To Give Voice To Opinions

Text Size

To the Editor:

We are coming to the final stretch of the Fairfield Hills Community Survey; Wednesday, May 15 is the final day to weigh in. As of May 6, just under 1,500 people had taken the ten to 12 minutes needed to finish the survey.

Fairfield Hills is an important part of our town, one that impacts our entire community. Over the last few years, we’ve seen it begin to blossom into a diverse destination with town services, active and passive recreation, and (soon) a brew pub and a community center with a café. Over the next few years, more opportunities for development will likely be available for town leaders to choose from.

Several times in the past, I’ve heard people comment that town leaders are overly influenced by a small group of very vocal people. The Fairfield Hills Community Survey offers a way for all voices in our community to express their views to town leaders about the future of the property. Please take the time to add your voice.

The survey is available online at ffhsurvey.com and also in paper form at the First Selectman’s office, the lower level of the C.H. Booth Library, and the senior center.
