Hawley Elementary School students once again shopped for books, journals, markers, and more at the school's Fall Book Fair.

The annual event kicked off on October 19, when students got to preview the fair’s books and create their wish lists. They then returned throughout the week to shop with their classmates, excitedly sharing what they bought with each other once they finished shopping.

Teachers also picked out books they wanted for their classroom and students could buy those titles for the educators.

Many different items, such as picture books, science books, fact books, journals, pens, and markers were on sale.

Much like in previous years, Hawley PTA members organized and ran the event.

Hawley PTA members and parent volunteers once again organized the event. Some ran the register while others were ready to help kids find the perfect book.
A new addition to the book fair this year was a Spanish section, featuring children’s books, comics, and novels fully in Spanish.
