The Newtown Chamber of Commerce is continuing its free monthly networking activities open to all local business professionals.

The next event will be held at Sal e Pepe Contemporary Italian Bistro on May 14, from 8 to 9 am. The guest speaker is Ron Bellenot of Bellenot & Boufford LLC.

Mr Bellenot’s presentation is titled “Five Mistakes Small Business Owners Need to Avoid” and will include a comprehensive discussion of the most critical and expensive mistakes small business owner’s make that put them in legal trouble. Mr Bellenot has been practicing law in the Newtown-Monroe community since 1989.

As a small business person himself, and having represented many small business owners, Mr Bellenot and Bellenot & Boufford have seen entrepreneurs suffer devastating consequences because they simply were uninformed.

Light refreshments will be served. Breakfast networking sessions sponsored by the Newtown Chamber of Commerce are planned monthly on the second Wednesday of each month. Those interested in guest speaking may contact Tricia Farin at 203-426-9193.
