Cub Scouting Open House

At Head O’ Meadow School

On Thursday, May 19, at 7 pm, Cub Scout Pack 470, serving the Head O’ Meadow School area, invites kindergarten to fourth grade boys and their parents or guardians to get together with current scouts and parents for its 2005-2006 informational open house and ice cream social. This year, the pack is thrilled to feature ice cream from Newtown’s own Ferris Acres Creamery.

This informal program will feature activities for children and the opportunity for parents to learn about Cub Scout programs for the upcoming school year, from a parent’s perspective, as well as the perspective of a boy. As a Cub Scout, first through fifth grade boys will experience new things, learn new skills and make new friends.

All are invited to learn about the Cub Scout experience. Those who cannot make it or want more information can call Mitch Bolinsky at 364-0287 or e-mail at cubmaster470@earthlink.net.
