Town Players Musical Revue, Saturday

Town Players of Newtown is planning a musical revue.

One live performance of “An Enchanting 1920s Musical Revue” is planned for Saturday, May 22, at 8 pm, at The Little Theatre, 18 Orchard Hill Road.

Guests have the option of attending in person or receiving a link to view the event virtually.

The cabaret will feature Zach Theis on vocals and Hunter Zandieh on cello, with Noelle Veillette as musical director. The performance is being produced by Nicole Veach, with Tyler Kittleman providing audio and video.

The set list for the revue will include “April Showers,” “If I Could Be With You,” “Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue,” “Yes Sir, That’s My Baby,” “My Blue Heaven,” and other familiar favorites.

Tickets for Saturday night’s live performance are $25, available through the theater’s website, newtownplayers.org.

The theater will be selling seats at 50 percent capacity, and audience members will be required to wear masks. Cast and crew will be vaccinated, according to the theater’s website.

For those who wish to watch from home, donations of $10 or more will be acknowledged with a link to the performance. All season ticket holders will receive a link as well.
