Stella A. Bevensee

Stella A. Bevensee, 85, wife of the late Theodore Bevensee of Hemlock Road, Newtown, died May 26, at Ashlar of Newtown.

She was born in Stamford, August 20, 1915, a daughter of the late Kashmir and Anna Obuchski. A resident of Newtown since 1973, Mrs Bevensee was a longtime resident of Stamford and a retired employee of the Cheeseborough-Pond Company. Mrs Bevensee was an avid animal lover.

Mrs Bevensee is survived by a son, Charles Bevensee of Newtown; a daughter, Ann Manley and her husband, John, of Newtown; and one grandson, Mark Manley of Newtown.

A private service was held May 30, in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
