Sean Kennedy singled, doubled and homered to lead Tobin Plumbing to a 15-1 win over Biscoe Excavating in Newtown Babe Ruth Baseball Minors Division action. Here are all the results:

Newtown Roll-Off Service 11, Brookfield 5 – Jasper Ress, Tom Selleck and Andy Kirner collected two hits apiece to lead Newtown Roll-Off to the win. John Tita drove in a pair of runs and Chris Elias pitched well.

BlindsGuys 18, Enterprise Electric 2 – Sean Ross went 4-for-4, Kenneth Toal had a great fly ball catch in left field, Arndt, Ross, Wilder, Harmeling, and Kerins combined on the mound to lead the BlindsGuys. For Enterprise, Jeffrey Grasso controlled the plate while Riley Wurtz delivered strikes. Jordan Buyers and Brandon Capaldo scored the runs. Greg Williamson pitched nicely. Colin Morris had several defensive plays.

BlindsGuys 16, Have Fun Inc 11 – Jacob Leighton collected two hits and scored three runs to lead the BlindsGuys. Sean Ross added to the rally with a bases loaded double in the fourth and Kenneth Toal added two RBIs of his own with a shot down the right field line. For Have Fun, timely base stealing by Stephen Ibanez and Jason Marks added to the score. Connor Mason pitched two shutout innings and Jack Kneisel was 3-for-3 at the plate.

Hickey Septic 10, BlindsGuys 3 – Ryan Truchsess tripled twice and scored three runs to lead Hickey Septic to the win. Sean Burson, Chris Tenney, and Scott Keating had multi-hit games. For the BlindsGuys, William Arndt pitched two great innings. Ian McWilliams had two amazing catches (one in deep center field and another in foul territory against the fence), Michael Gregario had a nice play at third base and Eric Terhaar played well at second.

Connolly Woodworks 8, Union Savings Bank 5 – Ryan Powers led Union Savings with two hits and three runs scored. Ryan Cassidy contributed with two hits and a strong pitching performance and Eric Samuelson added a hit and did a great job catching. Luke Piazza played a strong defensive game.

Hickey Septic 5, Union Savings Bank 3 – Sean Burson went 3-for-4 while Chris Tenney, Tim Bloom, and Robbie Daigle adding nice hits to lead Hickey to the win. For Union Savings, Ryan Powers had two hits, pitched two strong innings pitched and some great defensive plays. Jimmy Mooney, Eric Samuelson and Greg Frattaroli played great in the field.

Hickey Septic 15, Linden Consulting 9 – Chris Tenney had an outstanding game at shortstop. Timmy Bloom and Rob Daigle had key hits and the pitching combination of Sean Burson, Trey Trudell, and Connor Blanc powered Hickey to the win. For Linden, Dakota Christiano was 2-for-2 and had a sacrifice, plating three runs. Luke Shearin reached base twice and Kyle Wilcox belted a two-run triple.

Union Savings Bank 5, Newtown Hardware 3 – Anthony Maki collected two hits and a strong pitching performance to lead Union Savings to the win. Luke Piazza had a base hit and turned a double play. Michael Reen scored twice and did a fine job behind the plate while Eric Samuelson continued to hit the ball hard.

Connolly Woodworks 5, Hickey Septic 4 – Chris Tenney, Connor Blanc, and Sean Burson pitched well to lead Hickey. Burson added two hits while Mike Morrsion and Scott Keating had outstanding plays at seconnd base.

Mastercard 5, Ponsky DDS 2 – Michael Senf, Vikram Makayee, Nick Lafky and David Gerics staged a late-game rally to lead Mastercard to the win. For Ponsky, Evan Swain and Jeffery Hoffman both pitched well, giving up no runs in two innings of play. Max Lopez went 2-for-3 and Jimmy Russo collected a hit.

Mastercard 12, Ferris Acres Creamery 7 – Sean Elliott (3-for-3), Jonathan Vaughn (2-for-3) and Kevin Shpunt (2-for-2) powered the Mastercard offense as Reid Schmidt pitched two shutout innings with five strikeouts Alex Roche made two great catches. Stephen Conway (4-for-4), Michael Allwein (3-for-4) and Kaleb Rowe (2-for-3) provided the offense for Ferris Acres. Patrick Thornberg and James Cochran were strong in the field.

Tobin Plumbing 15, Biscoe Excavating 1 – Sean Kennedy had three hits, including a homer and a double, to lead Tobin to the win. Adam Moorehouse singled and tripled while Garret Quinn and Kyle Packer collected two hits apiece. For Biscoe, Rockwell Anyoha and Richard Andreotta hit the ball hard and Brandon Rosenberger pitched well in relief.

Tobin Plumbing 14, Savings Bank of Danbury 9 – Mikey Tobin had three hits and Alex Martens, Chris Caulfield and Sean Kennedy all collected doubles to lead Tobin to the win. For Savings Bank, Steven Zarifis had two hits and scored three runs. Brandon Bowen had a bases loaded triple, Michael Hubbard had a key hit late in the game and Drew Robinson had a solid pitching performance.

Newtown Bee 10, Mastercard 6 – Gary Braun went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles, Kyle Morrissey who had a double and Triple, Mike Lobosco singled and tripled and Travis Szalay collected two hits to lead the Newtown Bee to the win. Mastercard was led by Michael Senf, who was 2-for-2 with an RBI. Tyler Gibney went 2-for-3 with a Triple and Will Linehan who had a single and scored a run. Alex Roche also pitched well.

Newtown Bee 5, B&K Septic 3 – Gary Braun doubled and Patrick Mullins drove in two runs to lead the Bee. Joey Fellin made a nice play at second base and Troy Larsen pitched two strong innings. For B&K, Sam Ashey went 3-for-3 with a triple while Eric Branecky who played sparkling D at second base. David Cartisano, Jon Hull and Chris Devaney all pitched scoreless innings.

BASE Technologies 11, Ferris Acres Creamery 5 – Matt Spencer banged out three hits and Joe Davis and Chris Otero had two hits apiece to power BASE to the win. Colton Sposta pitched two shutout innings. For Ferris, Kaleb Rowe had two hits and two runs scored while Miles LoBuglio and Daniel Gustafson had key hits.
