Baptist Church Plans Bible School

MONROE — Stepney Baptist Church invites all children in Monroe, Easton, Trumbull, and Newtown to come to the SonZone Discovery Center.

“This year’s Vacation Bible School promises to be an adventure your children will never forget,” said Reverend George Brett of Stepney Baptist Church. “SonZone is a very special place – a fantastic inventor’s museum designed just for kids. Here your children will join Professor Mega-nog-gin in her search for God’s awesome plan. They’ll explore the wonders of God’s universe through lively songs, humorous skits, and “science-with-a-twist” – based crafts and games. But most importantly, they’ll look in the Bible for the answers to some very important questions such as “Why Am I Here?,” “What is God Like?” and “Why Did Jesus Have to Die?”

“We’re looking forward to this very special opportunity to share with the children and parents in our communities. Thursday evening will be a Family Fun Night with all the classes sharing what they have been learning during the week. It will be a great time! We hope they all will join us at SonZone as we discover and celebrate God’s plan for us,” Rev Brett said.

The SonZone Discovery Center Vacation Bible School begins Monday, July 10, and continues through to Friday, July 14. Classes are held at Stepney Baptist Church, 423 Main St, Monroe, from 9:00 am to 12:20 pm. For more information call the church at 203/268-9680.
