Pauline Nagy

Pauline (Kochiss) Nagy, 83, of Fairfield, died June 3 at St Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport.

She was the sister of Veronica Mangiamele of Newtown.

Born in Pennsylvania, she was a resident of Fairfield for more than 46 years. Prior to her retirement, she was a clerk at McCrory’s Department Store for more than 20 years.

She was the devoted mother of one son, Gary Nagy of Naugatuck, and one daughter, Gail Cerbaise of Southbury. She is also survived by another sister, Mary Kochiss of Bridgeport; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William B. Nagy, and her son, Ronald B. Nagy.

The funeral service was held on June 6 at the Shaughnessey Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road, Fairfield. Interment was in Mountain Grove Cemetery.
