COUNTRY AIR 16, NEWTOWN HARDWARE 12: Kaitlin Durkin was on base three times, scoring two runs to lead Country Air to the win. Kaity Murphy made the defensive play of the game. For Hardware, Christina Wolf made a stunning debut at catcher, Stephanie Nordstrom was heroic in an effort to play through injury, and Lauren Cascia was 4-for-4 while hitting for the cycle.

ADVANTAGE LOAN 20, NEWTOWN HARDWARE 6: It was a team effort that led Advantage to the win. For Hardware, the defense was solid with Jaclyn Cedor at first, Stephanie Nordstrom at third, and CoCo Peyres, Kristen Rockwell and Becky Lukeris in the outfield..

CENTURY 21 11, RIVER CONE 7: Erica Raymond, Chelsea Fowler, Katie Serock and Gina Fenaroli played well and led Century 21 to the win. For River Cone, Amanda Sloan had a great hit while Paige Woodhouse and Tina Sanchez each went 3-for-3.

EXECUTIVE LANDSCAPING 10, McCHORD ENGINEERING 8: Sarah Holroyd and Lindsay Chimileski each pitched two scoreless innings to lead Executive to the win. Amber Finlayson and Kristen DeFilippe played well in the field. For McChord, Emily Blewitt and Connie Caruso hit back-to-back home runs to spark the offense. Sarah Kaechele also belted a homer. Sarah Devellis and Nicole Krause played well in the field.

 

JUNIORS

 

DR STEVEN LANDIN 20, NASE 13: Kaitlin Eckert doubled twice, Michele Paladino triples and Laura Konkos doubled and stole home twice to lead Dr Landin to the win. For NASE, Holly O’Day was 4-for-4, Kelly Anne Murphy had three hits, and Stephanie Manning belted a home run to lead the offense. Katie Van Veen, Angela Viesto and Katie Orlando all played well in the field.

CHUBBY’S DELI 24, DR STEVEN LANDIN 15: Annie Grills went 3-for-4 with a home run while Alison Thompson was on base five times. Cierra Mitchell and Ali Swink played well. For Dr Landin, Sara Paladino, Michele Paladino and Becky Sampson all stole home while Caitlin Kimball and Alison McEmber played well in the field.

BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 21, DR STEVEN LANDIN 12: Rachael Warburton and Jenna Moser pitched well, leading Tendler to the win. Alana Eernick and Claira Berlioux led the defense. For Dr. Landin, Sammie Ciaccia blasted a grand slam, Stephanie Corletto doubled, and Laura Konkos, Alison McEmber and Caitlin Kimball all had sparkling defensive plays.

LEXINGTON GARDENS 19, KENDRO LAB PRODUCTS 10: Mary Gover, Tory Marlin and Nicole McGrath led the Lexington Garden defense with key catches. Nicole Cunningham pitched well, allowing just one hit in two innings. For Kendro, Melissa Shepard banged out three hits, Tricia Reed had two hits and scored a run.

DR CURTIS BECK 15, LEXINGTON GARDENS 14: Jennifer Truchess scored three runs while Lauren Egdahl, Katie McNulty, Kate Levasseur and Sarah Copelan scored two runs apiece to help Dr Beck runs its record to 8-1. For Lexington, Tory Marlin made a fine catch in the outfield. Ally Kirk was also strong in defense while Bria Innaurato doubled and drove in three runs..

EXECUTIVE LANDSCAPING 14, KENDRO LAB PRODUCTS 6: Alison Legros went 5-for-6, scored three runs, drove in three runs, and earned the victory on the mound while leading Executive. Valerie Nezvesky was 4-for-5 with a double, three runs scored, and three RBI. Kellie Datin, Lauren Imperioli and Danielle LaFrancesca had three hits apiece while Celeste Villafano had two hits and two RBI. For Kendro, Christina Ercole belted a grand slam homer while Nichole Beatty, Mariale Renna, Tricia Reed and Jennifer Iassogna all had two hits apiece.

LEXINGTON GARDENS 16, BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 13: Lisa Alberico banged out four hits, with a double, triple and four RBI to power Lexington to the win. Mary Gover had three hits and sparked the defense, along with Tori Marlin. For Tendler, Lauren Hamilton doubled to pace the offense, Michaelle Brennan and Paige Meehan anchored the defense, and Jenna Moser pitched a solid game.

POOTATUCK SPIRITS 23, NASE 14: Megan Groves cracked a grand slam home run and Alexa Faeth doubled twice and drove in four runs to lead Pootatuck Spirits. Amanda Chontos had two triples and six RBI. For NASE, Katie Van Veen and Kelly Ann Murphy each went 4-for-4. Stephanie Manning had three RBI.

POOTATUCK SPIRITS 29, KENDRO LAB PRODUCTS 16: Rachel Nicolosi, Danielle Nicolosi and Kelsey DeCesare banged out three hits apiece and sparked the defense in the Pootatuck win. Amanda Krause, Kimberly Solheim and Hillary Smith also played well. For Kendro, Tricia Reed had three hits and three runs scored as Jennifer Iassogna , Nichole Beatty and Melissa Shepard had excellent games.

BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 13, NASE 9: Rachael Warburton and Lauren Hamilton had solid pitching performances to lead Tendler Real Estate to the win. Jessica Neufeld had four hits and Claire Berlioux caught a great game. For NASE, Katie Van Veen, Angela Viesto, and Michelle Stevens had nice all-around games.

BUS #22 7, THE QUIET COMPANY 6: Gina Bloshuk smashed a two-out hit in the seventh inning to lead Bus #22 to the win. Katie Midlik and Ashley Christiano were strong at the plate, but Melissa Paynter had the best day by going 4-for-5. For The Quiet Company, Kayla Koschel and Jenna Van Waalwijk combined to whiff 11 batters. Van Waalwijk also added a triple and three RBI. Jackie Us pitched well and played solid defense at first base.

BUS #22 14, DR CURTIS BECK 7: Michelle Rastelli went 4-for-5 and Hilary Moskowitz went 3-for-4 to help lead Bus #22 to its 10th win of the season against no defeats. Sara Regensberger and Catrina Morgan went 2-for-2 and Karli Beitel was 2-for-3 to also spark the offense. For Dr Beck, Kayla Moore scored a pair of runs while Kyla Miles and Sophie Cerreta had good performances in the field.

LEXINGTON GARDENS 19, CHUBBY’S DELI 13: Nicole McGrath pitched four solid innings, allowing just one run, to lead Lexington Gardens to the win. Bria Innaurato had a home run while Nicole Cunningham drove in two runs and played solid D at first base. Brianna Eckhardt’s third-inning hit started the come-from-behind rally. For Chubby’s, Annie Grills went 4-for-4 with four RBI. Sara Peters was 3-for-4 with three runs scored as Amy Kelley and Christian DelRossi each went 2-for-5.

Playoffs

CHUBBY’S DELI 21, KENDRO LAB PRODUCTS 5: A 19-hit Chubby’s attack was led by three-hit performances from Sara Peters, Annie Grills, JJessica Perez and Amy Kelley. Ali Swink was 2-for-2 with four runs scored. For Kendro, Nichole Beatty had four hits and two RBI to lead the way. Christina Ercole pitched four solid innings and had two hits and one RBI. Samantha O’Donnell had three hits and one RBI.

MIDGETS

 

CLEARHART CONSTRUCTION 11, NEWTOWN JUNIOR WOMEN 9: Gina Pisacreta and Chelsea Fay banged out four hits apiece to lead Clearhart to the win. Annie Berlioux pitched well. For Junior Women, Maxx Zimmer, Katy Caulfield and Kelsey DeCesare all played well.

MY PLACE 10, DRUG CENTER 0: Kim Nezvesky, Mary Bloshuk, Sarah Shannon and Katie Power led the offense while Bloshuk and Jenna Legros also pitched well for My Place.

DANZIGER HOMES 7, NEWTOWN POLICE UNION 6: With two outs in the last inning, Adelle Cerreta tripled and Nicole Reyen homers to lead Danziger Homes to the win. Nicole Elias was steady at third base while Lisa Vendel threw three runners out at first.

DANZIGER HOMES 19, DRUG CENTER 5: Sarah Lewis and Renee Rushefski both went 4-for-4 to power Danziger to the win. The pair combined to score five runs while Adelle Cerreta was strong in the field at first base and Lisa Vendel pitched well in her debut.

DANZIGER HOMES 15, NEWTOWN JUNIOR WOMEN 10: Loren Johnson was perfect at the plate and scored three times to lead Danziger to the win. Stephanie Arndt went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs. Sarah Edwards pitched well, allowing no runs in her time on the mound. For Junior Women, Christina LaValla doubled, Alyssa Krueger played solid defense, and Mary Kate Lopiccolo and Maxx Zimmer played well.

MY PLACE 10, CENTURY 21 9: Katie Power and Kim Nezvesky each went 3-for-4 with home runs to power My Place to the win. Alyssa DeSimone shined on defense, turning in a doubled play, while Jenna Legros was strong on the mound with four strikeouts. For Century 21, Chelsea Fowler homers and doubled, Meg Hansen hit the ball well, and Nicole Escoda was solid in the field.

RICCI’S SALON 14, NEWTOWN POLICE UNION 5: Colleen Murphy went 4-for-4 and Meaghan Wilson rapped out a pair of singles to lead Ricci’s to the win. Meg Barbour pitched well and hit a big triple to drive in a pair of runs. For the Police Union, Elissa Roberton pitched well as Remafa Villarreal and Michele Rahtelli had key hits.

CLEARHART CONSTRUCTION 4, DANZIGER HOMES 1: Jenna Lex and Meghan Porcelli each had key hits to lead Clearhart to the win. Rachel Marlin played well in the field. For Danziger, Nicole Elias drove in the lone run while Jessica Edwards, Renee Rushefski, Sarah lewis and Adelle Cerreta all made their pitching debuts and did great.
