 Offers Internet Marketing

WATERBURY — Teikyo Post University is offering a special topics course, Marketing on the Internet, which will meet Mondays and Wednesdays at the main campus in Waterbury from 5:30 to 8:30 pm starting June 30 and ending August 18.

This course will examine the impact of the Internet on traditional methods of marketing and related business functions. It explores existing and potential future uses of the Internet for the marketing of goods and services. Some of the key marketing aspects of the Internet which will be examined are branding, advertising, customer service, market research, and distribution advantages. Students who have some marketing background or who have completed an introductory marketing course will get the most out of the course, but others may enroll as well.

The Marketing on the Internet special topics course counts as a marketing elective or upper level unrestricted elective in Teikyo Post’s Marketing program. The course carries three undergraduate college credits. Those who do not wish to earn credit for the course may audit it at half the tuition. The course is expected to fill quickly, so those who are interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible at www.teikyopost.edu. The course number is MKT 395.70. If you wish to receive a course bulletin, call Brenda Rouse at 800/582-8250 or e-mail with your home address at adp@teikyopost.edu.
