Art in Residence, a fine art gallery in the home of Rosemary and Robert Rau at 12 Lake Road, will host the opening reception of its summer exhibition on Sunday, June 8.

“The Equine and Canine — Body and Soul” will feature works by sculptor Peggy Kauffman and animal portraitist Jocelyn Sandor Urban. The collection will also offer works by Adele Moros, Aline LaPointe and Ellie Scott.

In addition, the gallery will host a Summer Exhibit with works by Joanne Conant, Anne Marie Foran, Katya Lebrija and Virginia Zic.

An artist’s reception, to which the public is invited, will be on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 pm. The exhibitions will remain on view until June 30.

Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 5 pm.
