Barbara (Troy) Donohue, 77, of Avon died May 31 at Bethel Health Care Center. Mrs Donohue was the wife of Leo V. Donohue. She was born in Hartford on January 6, 1931, a daughter of Thomas C. and Madeline (Salvatore) Troy.

In addition to her husband, Mrs Donohue is survived by her son Christopher T. Donohue and his wife, Susanne, and their daughters, Katherine and Margaret, all of the Sandy Hook section of Newtown; a sister, Marion Jaserie of California; and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers and four sisters predeceased her.

Mrs Donohue was a resident of Avon for 48 years.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend calling hours Friday, June 6, from 4 to 7 pm, in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Interment will be private.
