Simply Say It

To the Editor:

It’s kind of simple to me. If you do not want your child to read something, simply say it.

Tell them, “I do not want you to read that book!”

If they do it anyway, you might have a bigger problem than banning books for others’ kids to read.

Additionally, let’s be respectful of others’ choices and beliefs. We do not have to agree, but we do have to respect reach other — always!

Yours Truly,

Mary Beth DiNoto

Well, speaking as a former adolescent boy, I am not sure that works. I don’t think my parents wanted me reading it but I knew where to get a Playboy, Penthouse or Hustler. ( And whose dad’s kept beer in a refrigerator in the garage !)
