Robert Scott Graves, 64, Pike, N.H., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Monday, June 6, 2022. He was born February 4, 1958, in Plymouth, N.H., to Robert C. Graves and Janet W. (Hobart) Graves.

He grew up in Newtown, Conn., and graduated Newtown High School, Sandy Hook, Conn., in 1976. He married Cindy (O’Dell) Graves on September 22, 1979.

He worked at Grafton County Nursing Home in the maintenance department from 2005 to 2020. Prior to that, he worked at Newtown Park and Recreation in Newtown and was a partner in a family business for many years.

He enjoyed coaching Cal Ripkin baseball and then went on to become New England Regional Commissioner. He enjoyed anything to do with his family, children, grandchildren, and others.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Graves; his children, Jeremy Scott and Keri Anne; his siblings, Debra DuBois, Laurie Cameron, and Paul Graves; his grandchildren, Leland & Desmond Robbins, Taylor, Caedon, and Braedon Berkenmeier; his father-in-law, Clifford O’Dell, of Newtown; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as special friends, Lisa and Peter Maccini of Northfield, N.H., and Richard Baily of Newtown.

He was predeceased by his parents and mother-in-law, Sarah O’Dell.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org.

His family wishes to thank his numerous friends and family for all the love and support over the last year.
