Riverside Road Needs A Left Arrow

To the Editor:

To all those who get stuck in Riverside Road traffic in the morning ... PLEASE reach out to our State Rep Mitch Bolinsky as that intersection is a state road.

Apparently he is the one who can help us get the left hand arrow on Riverside Road going south and trying to turn left towards the high school on weekday mornings between 7:30-8 am (all other days as well, but not as consistent).

The other day I waited 18 minutes and was backed up to the firehouse along with many buses. The drivers must be going crazy.

Installing a left arrow from Riverside Road only makes sense as the opposite traffic from Church Hill Road already has a left hand arrow. So this way both directions can turn left without near-miss head-on collisions.

The squeaky wheel gets the job done ... POWER is in the NUMBER of SUPPORTERS ... please reach out to State Rep Mitch Bolinsky: mitch.bolinsky@housegop.ct.gov.
