To the Editor:

With a grateful heart, I write this.

On Monday, the 13th of June, I went to our mailbox and found a lovely card and a gift card for Big Y.

What do you say when you receive a gift in an unbelievable amount? First, I say thank you to God, then I went about trying to find who would give this.

Yes, the card was signed, but I couldn’t make it out. So after looking in all the obvious places, I wrote this just hoping whoever did this random act of kindness will read it in The Newtown Bee, and let us hear from you.

As we look around today with all that is affecting our lives, everything going up, your gift is certainly appreciated. May y’all receive greater blessings — Richard and myself are very grateful.
