After three years as interim Priest in Charge at Trinity Episcopal Church, the Reverend Dr Jenny Montgomery will be retiring after this weekend.

The public is invited to join members of the Main Street church for a car parade through Trinity’s parking lot on Saturday, June 27, from 10 to 11 am. Participants are asked to enter the lot at 12 Church Hill Road.

They will be directed through the parking lot and around to the playground area, where they can briefly stop and offer well wishes. All participants are asked to remain in their vehicles. Rev Dr Montgomery will approach from a safe distance.

Organizers note that Saturday is also Rev Dr Montgomery’s birthday. Signs, vehicle window decorations, horn blowers, etc, are all encouraged to give her a joyous birthday greeting and send-off.
