Kenneth James Berry, son of Philip “Tony” and the late Mary Lou (Harding) Berry, passed away at home on June 22. Born March 17, 1965, Kenny attended Newtown schools, graduating from Newtown High School in 1983. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter.

Following school Kenny became a tradesman, spending years as part of the local Sheet Metal Union before eventually starting his own business, K&T Roofing.

As well as his father, Tony, Kenny is survived by his brothers, Chris with wife, Megan, of Southbury, and Phil with wife, Trish, of Maynard, Mass.; and his sister, Colleen Berry Coscia with Pete Gage, of Newtown. He is also survived by two children, Kenneth, Jr, of Middlebury, and Michelle Anne Berry with Gregory Tepper, of Pittsburg, Penn; as well as grandson, Gregory Loren Tepper, and granddaughter, Sydney Anne Tepper, along with several nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of remembrance for Kenny on Saturday, July 10, from 1:30 to 4 pm, at 18 Phyllis Lane, Newtown.
