Melinda C. Hughan to Eric G. Sauve

Melinda C. Hughan and Eric G. Sauve, both of Southbury, announce their engagement to be married.

The future bride is the daughter of Bill and Nancy Hughan of Oxford. She graduated from Seymour High School with the Class of 1998, and she is employed as a nanny for two young boys in the Lafky family in Newtown.

The future groom is the son of Bob and Claire Sauve of Oxford. He attended Seymour High School, graduating with the Class of 1995. He is a heavy machine operator specializing in excavation with Sunshine Enterprises in Waterbury.

The wedding date being planned for Sunday afternoon, June 12, 2005, will coincide with the 64th wedding anniversary of Ms Hughan’s grandparents, Mr and Mrs C.C. Smith, who were married in 1941. The ceremony and reception will be held at The Waterview on Lake Zoar.
