Marie L. Guerrera Villano, 95, of Newtown, beloved wife of the late Patsy Villano, died peacefully July 1, surrounded by her loving family at her home. Born in Bridgeport on May 4, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Donato and Raffaela Coscia Guerrera.

Before her retirement, she worked at Remington Arms during World War II and later as a manager at the Town Fair Bakery of Stratford. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family dearly.

Her two loving children and their spouses, Patrick and Susan Villano of Massena, N.Y., and Mary Lee and Robert Cannone of Newtown; six cherished grandchildren, Jamie and Patsy Cannone and Patrick, Hollie, Alexa, and Amanda Villano; two adored great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews, survive her.

Two brothers, Frederick Guerra and Anthony Guerrera; and three sisters, Rose Costa, Katherine Arco, and Gloria Codeghini, predeceased her.

All funeral services were conducted in private.
