TUV Rheinland Of North American Partners With Welch Allyn

TUV Rheinland of North America, Inc, a regulatory compliance testing and certification firm based in Newtown, has announced a partnership with Welch Allyn to assume operation of Welch Allyn’s on-site electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing laboratory located in Elbridge, N.Y.

TUV Rheinland’s plans are to immediately begin to divert a portion of its testing business to the Elbridge laboratory as well as to add more lab equipment and testing engineers.

Deep Krishnan, technical sales director for TUV Rheinland, notes, “It’s a win-win situation for TUV Rheinland and Welch Allyn. We have increased the amount of testing capabilities at the lab, thereby optimizing the level of local service Welch Allyn can count on to bring their products to market faster. In addition, we gain a strategically placed laboratory in the heart of New York to help other manufacturers in the area.”

Mr Krishnan has appointed Jeffrey Langdon, regional sales manager for TUV Rheinland, to facilitate this transition. Mr Langdon will also be responsible for marketing the Elbridge laboratory across New York State and Ontario, Canada.
