Nicholas E. Gambardella, 66, of Shelton, devoted husband to Pauline Gambardella, died at home on July 7, surrounded by family. He was born June 7, 1951, in Derby, son of the late Dorothy and Joseph Gambardella. He was the second oldest of his siblings, Joseph, Thomas, and Frances.

His four children and their spouses, John and Jessica of Newtown; Nicholas and Christina of Ridgefield; Michael and Cindy of Shelton; and Amy and Andrew of Shelton; as well as six grandchildren, survive him.

He was a proud and devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed family gatherings and the simple things life offered. He will be dearly missed.

Friends may call on Tuesday, July 11, from 4 to 7 pm, at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin Street, Ansonia. Funeral services will begin at 7 pm.
