Richard Paul Sando, 57, of Newtown died peacefully on June 21 at St Vincent's Hospital. He was the son of Marie Sando of Summerville, S.C., and the late George Sando, Sr.

His son, Richard Sando, Jr, of Newtown; three brothers, Michael Sando of Sandy Hook, and Frank Sando and George Sando, Jr, both of Summerville; a special friend; several aunts, an uncle, and a host of nieces and nephews survive him.

Family and friends are invited on Friday, July 14, at 11 am, to attend a mass at Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford, followed with burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
