On Thursday, July 23, 6-9 pm, New Haven-based Alisa Bowens-Mercado will return to Aquila’s Nest Vineyards, 56 Pole Bridge Road, for a night of Latin dancing. Bowens-Mercado is renowned for her authentic Latin dance style and engaging instruction.

Affectionately known as “La Morena Que Baila Salsa,” Bowens-Mercado is celebrated for honoring the rich traditions of Latin dance while fostering an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for dancers of all backgrounds. Her dynamic, encouraging teaching style is grounded in strong fundamentals, empowering students to build technique, confidence, and personal expression on the dance floor.

This event is for all levels — no experience or partner required. Tickets are $10 per person, and tickets do not include the sale of wine. A $10 drink minimum is required for all participants.
