Please Don’t Litter

To the Editor:

If people don’t act soon, there will be no animals left. People litter [too] much and it hurts nature.

I think we can make a difference, one person at a time. Whenever you see a piece of garbage, pick it up. Help nature! Please don’t litter. Spread the word.

If we all work together our beautiful world can become more beautiful, to animals and people. Nature is beautiful, and if you don’t help pick it up, at least don’t help put garbage down!

People litter and it rains. Garbage goes into the storm drains, goes into rivers, which lead to the sea, where jellyfish-eating animals may eat a plastic bag that looks like a jellyfish, and may result in that animal dying.

Sincerely,

Clare Danner, age 9
