Two More Candidates

We are please to welcome Brendan Duffy as an Independent Party of Newtown candidate for Legislative Council District 3.

Brendan, who resides with his family at Chestnut Knoll Drive, will join Ann Ziluck and Robert Murray as Independent Party of Newtown candidates for Legislative Council in District 3. Brendan’s engineering and construction management experience will be an invaluable asset for the Newtown community as we prepare to address the numerous capital improvement projects. 

The Independent Party of Newtown has also endorsed former Newtown Legislative Council member Ruby Johnson’s run for a Legislative Council seat in District 3 as an unaffiliated candidate.

Ruby, who resides with her husband at Chestnut Hill Road, will be a tremendous addition to the Legislative Council. She has distinguished herself as an independent thinker with an exciting vision for our community that is similar to the vision of the Independent Party of Newtown. 

We will be making further cross-endorsements during the course of the election campaign, and we are honored to make Ruby the first. 

The Independent Party of Newtown is a coalition of Republicans, Democrats, and unaffiliated candidates who stand for accountability, checks and balances, and transparency in government (ACT). We are offering a choice for voters in November.
