Botsford Fire Planning Summer Bash

Botsford Fire & Rescue is preparing its Second Annual Summer Bash, which will return to the company’s station grounds on Saturday, August 18, from 2 to 11 pm.

A fundraiser for the company based at 315 South Main Street, the event will take place at the firehouse. Company members have been building a stage from a 40-foot trailer, which will allow bands Fast Ricky and Night Riders to perform regardless of the weather.

The Pig Man BBQ of Monroe will be cooking ribs and other BBQ foods. The event will also offer plenty of hamburgers and hot dogs, sausage and peppers, corn on the cob, and drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The Jaeger Girls will be attending the event from 6 to 8 pm, according to Botsford Chief Wayne Ciaccia, who is also event chair.

There is no cover charge to attend. Food will be purchased a la carte.
