Vote For Michelle Embree Ku And Rob Blanchard This November
To The Editor:
Come this November 3rd, we will all have a much-needed opportunity to speak up — to say who we want to represent us: our beliefs, our needs, our hopes, our values. Think seriously about this. Who you vote for reflects the issues you care about and how you want your tax dollars to be spent. Voting is the primary language of a democracy, a language we still have despite recent desperate attempts to take it away from us.
Use this language and vote. Vote for what you want for yourself, your family, society. I want those who represent me in Hartford to not only care about how the soaring price of gas and groceries are adversely affecting my pocketbook but to prove they care through their past voting records. I want them to have real and varied government experience at many levels. I want them to have real scientific facts to back up their positions. I want them to not only care about keeping Newtown environmentally safe and green but have viable plans to do so. I want them to care about a woman’s right to choose and have a voting record to support this. Finally, I want them to help stop the epidemic of mass shootings by supporting gun safety legislation.
There are two politicians who are running to represent my districts in Hartford this November who meet these criteria: Michelle Embree Ku, as State Representative; and Rob Blanchard, as State Senator. We need change, more than ever now, and I know they will deliver.
Please join me in voting for Michelle and Rob this November.
