C.H. Booth Library Director Shawn Fields announced Tuesday, August 6, that the library has established social media feeds on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and YouTube. Mr Fields also invites the public to check out his personal reading list at www.goodreads.com/shawnthelibrarian and follow his blog at theboothlibrary.wordpress.com. These social media feeds are in addition to the library website, www.chboothlibrary.org.

Follow the library on Facebook or Twitter, via Flickr.

The library will also host three focus group sessions, open to the public: Thursday, August 15, at 11 am; Saturday, August 24, at 10 am; and Tuesday, August 27, at 7 pm.

“These sessions will mark the start of our strategic planning process,” said Mr Fields, in an e-mail to The Bee. “Newtown community members are welcome to share their vision for the library with us. We will be asking people to share what they like, what they don’t like, and what they would like to see in the future regarding local library service.”

Comments from the public are welcomed at any time, added Mr Fields.

C.H. Booth Library has established social media feeds on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and YouTube. The library’s new director also has a pair of blogs, and the public is invited to attend any one of three upcoming focus group sessions being hosted at 25 Main Street.
