Ok Bonding

The Board of Selectmen Monday night approved a resolution authorizing the

issuance and sale of $4.75 million in bond anticipation notes for several

capital projects.

The total includes $3,750,000 for the construction of an addition and

renovations to the Cyrenius H. Booth Library as approved by the voters in a

referendum last November.

Also included is $1 million for road reconstruction as approved in a special

town meeting on June 5, 1995.

These notes shall be dated March 19, 1996, and will mature on December 18,

1996. They will be sold by the town in a competitive offering which solicits

sealed bids.

The resolution now goes to Legislative Council for its approval.
