Local Students Listed In Who's Who

Twenty-two Newtown and Sandy Hook high school students were nominated for the

31st Annual Edition of Who's Who Among American High School Students, 1996-97

.

Newtown students selected are: Evelyn Chen, Kristin Denninger, Alison Healey,

Kate Johnstone, Jedidiah Kiernan, Sarah Kiernan, Bernhard Klaus, Kristin

Kowalchik, Ryan Loring, Laura Marusa, Michael Messemer, Tina Porco, Karen

Schweikert and Delphine Tuot.

From Sandy Hook, students are: Richard Di Domizio, Brandon Dorry, Jonathan

Hill, Corey Krueger, Lauren Pelletreau, Nick Perrone, Sean Pond and Hilary

Sepe.

These students will have their names printed in a book that will be

distributed to up to 15,000 high schools, colleges, universities and public

libraries throughout the country.

They can also compete for $200,000 in scholarship awards and participate in

the publication's Annual Survey of High Achievers, an annual opinion poll of

teen attitudes.
