Superintendent Evaluated

The Board of Education has begun its annual evaluation of Superintendent of

Schools John R. Reed.

The review will take place over several meetings and will look at the

superintendent's job performance as well as job objectives, according to Board

of Education Chairman Herb Rosenthal.

The board is expected to return with yet another favorable assessment of the

long-time schools chief.

"I think it will be very positive. This is not a board that is at odds with

the superintendent," Mr Rosenthal said.

The evaluation meetings are held in executive session.
