P&Z Weighs Four Resubdivision Applications
Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) members are considering four
resubdivision applications in which the developers seek to create a total 41
building lots.
Blakeman Construction, LLC, is seeking two separate resubdivisions to continue
construction of the Rollingwood development.
In section five of Rollingwood, Blakeman is proposing the resubdivision of Lot
43 into 24 residential lots.
In section four of Rollingwood, Blakeman wants to resubdivide Lot 38 into five
lots.
The property proposed for resubdivision is in the area of High Bridge Road,
New Lebbon Road, Marlin Road, East Marlin Road and Hoseye Coach Road.
The P&Z already has approved sections one two and three Rollingwood.
The Rollingwood development, which is being built on more than 200 acres, is
one of the largest residential construction projects in town.
When fully built, the property will have roughly 90 houses.
Also, P&Z members are considering a request from Bennetts Farm Associates for
Bennetts Farm, section six. The associates are seeking to resubdivide Lot 100
into six residential lots on more than 12 acres.
The land is located on Charter Ridge Drive and Clapboard Ridge Road.
In another resubdivision request, Nick and Gino Vona are seeking P&Z
permission to create six lots on more than 13 acres at Oak Ridge. The property
is on Oak Ridge Road, off Hattertown Road.
P&Z members are expected to act on the resubdivision requests at an upcoming
P&Z session.
