Danbury Man Charged After Altercation At Gas Stop
Police report an incident at the Gas Stop gas station that resulted in three
charges being lodged against a Danbury man.
Jeffrey A. Bardo, 19, of Danbury went to the gas station on Church Hill Road
on the night of November 25 where his ex-girlfriend works as an attendant,
according to police.
Bardo allegedly kicked and dented her car, kicked her in the leg, and threw
her over his shoulder to the ground, police said. When police arrived at the
scene, Bardo had already left.
Police called Bardo to the police station where they charged him with
third-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, and breach of the peace.
The woman was treated for injuries at Danbury Hospital and released.
After processing, police released Bardo on a promise to appear December 9 in
Danbury Superior Court. The case involves further investigation, police said.
