Double Latte To Go! (twins Kirsten Brooks and Karin Burton)

Some mornings, especially before the java kicked in, the employees of Sharon's

Coffee House at 49 Church Hill Road were feeling slightly distracted by a most

puzzling series of events.

Their confusion was caused by the sight of a pretty young woman with long

blonde hair, who would frequently stop by to grab a cup of coffee on her way

to work.

Nothing wrong with that, except that sometimes she came right back for a

second cup - wearing a completely different outfit.

Oh well, there's no accounting for what customers will do, right?

Luckily, the mystery was solved last Wednesday, May 21, when the young woman

came in as usual on her way to work. This time, however, she was accompanied

by her identical twin.

Driving separate cars from separate homes in Stratford and Milford to their

jobs at TUV Reinland of North America, Inc. at 12 Commerce Road, Kirsten

Brooks and Karin Burton each pulled into Sharon's parking lot at the same

time.

For once, they entered the coffee house together and everyone behind the

counter was overjoyed to see her/them.

"I'd been wondering why the change of clothes. Now I understand," said Ann

Marie Mitchell as she filled their coffee cups.

The twins were given free lattes to mark the occasion.
