Library Board Postpones Gala To A Future, Unspecified Date

The members of the Cyrenius H. Booth Library Board of Trustees have decided to

postpone the planned Gala event that was to have taken place Saturday evening,

November 22.

The library's opening day ceremony that was planned for November 23 has also

been postponed, due to delays in finishing the construction project.

Board members have been calling those people who signed up to attend the Gala

and who sent in checks for $35, telling them of the postponement decision.

When information about a new Gala date is available, it will be passed on

immediately to those still holding reservations.
