Country Club Gas Leak
The Rock Ridge Country Club is taking precautionary measures to ensure that a
small gas leak does not cause any serious environmental damage.
The leak apparently occurred earlier this month when a nozzle became stuck,
breaking a gas hose.
Bob Welsh, superintendent at the country club, said most of the 100 gallons of
gas has been cleaned up. Booms have been put up to make sure no gas residue
makes its way into a pond on the Rock Ridge Road property.
The cleanup work was estimated to cost between $6/10,000.
