BROOKFIELD — In celebration of a true American treasure and one of the world’s most beloved country music artists, The Corn Maze @ Twins BBQ Co is preparing to open a country music corn maze honoring Dolly Parton and the 31st anniversary of her Imagination Library.

The five-acre maze is scheduled to open for its third season on September 5. The Corn Maze @ Twins BBQ Co is one of 20 farms across the US and Canada inviting guests to “Get Lost with Dolly” in their corn maze this year. Collectively the 20 mazes — designed by The MAiZE Inc in Utah — will reach thousands of visitors this fall season.

Parton said she thinks “getting a little bit lost can be a whole lot of fun and I hope everyone has the best time wandering through the maze, making memories, and enjoying a little country magic.

“I’m especially grateful for the support of my Imagination Library and am excited to invite people out to get lost in this year’s country music corn maze for a little fun, laughter, and a real good reason to get lost,” she added.

Each participating farm, located in 15 US states and two Canadian provinces, will donate a portion of proceeds to support Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in their local community, providing free, high-quality books to children from birth to age 5 and helping to inspire a lifelong love of reading. Continuing a tradition to honor some of country music’s brightest stars through a nationwide Country Music Corn Maze campaign, previous honorees included Reba McEntire in 2023, Luke Bryan in 2024, and Lainey Wilson in 2025. Visitors to The Corn Maze @ Twins BBQ Co, and other locations, will enjoy Dolly-themed photo opps, storytelling, music, and farm fun along the way.

“When I was growing up in the hills of East Tennessee, I knew my dreams would come true,” said Parton. “I know there are children in your community with their own dreams. The seeds of these dreams are often found in books and the seeds you help plant in your community can grow across the world.”

Along with the corn maze, guests will also enjoy duck racing, corn pits, and more when they visit the farm. The Corn Maze @ Twins BBQ Co will operate September 5 to November 7, 2026.

Hours will be Wednesday through Friday, 3-5:30 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 11 am-5:30 pm. The maze will also be open Labor Day, Yom Kippur, Columbus/Indigenous Peoples Day, and Election Day from 11 am-5 pm.

Tickets are $13 per person.

The maze and Twins BBQ Co are at 401 Federal Road in Brookfield. For more information, call 203-740-1010 or visit twinsbbqco.com.

The MAiZE Inc annually creates mazes for 320+ farms worldwide and represents an increasingly popular trend in outdoor fall entertainment for adults and children alike. Founder Brett Herbst has worked with his team to design more than 6,000 corn mazes since first introducing the concept to Utah in 1996, including nearly 120 official Country Music Corn Mazes over the past four years.

Launched in 1995, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is the world’s leading early childhood book gifting program and the flagship initiative of The Dollywood Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Since its founding, the program has gifted more than 300 million free books to children across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Republic of Ireland.

Each month, the Imagination Library mails over three million high-quality, age-appropriate books directly to children’s homes. Every enrolled child receives one book per month from birth to age 5, at no cost to families.

Inspired by her father’s inability to read and write, Parton created the Imagination Library in her hometown of Sevier County, Tennessee, to inspire a love of reading from the earliest years. In true fashion, she soon shared that dream with other communities that wanted to give their children the same opportunity to dream more, learn more, care more, and be more. Today, the program is made possible through a unique partnership model in which funding and support are shared between Dolly, The Dollywood Foundation, and hundreds of local community partners, along with state, provincial, and national partners. The Imagination Library’s impact has been widely studied, with research consistently showing positive effects on early childhood development, kindergarten readiness, and family reading habits.
