Elect Julie Kerton As State Rep For The 107th District
To The Editor:
I am writing this letter in support of Julie Kerton who is running for state house of representatives of the 107th District, which covers parts of Newtown and Bethel, as well as Brookfield.
Julie has a wide range of experience and knowledge that makes her ideal for this position representing Newtown.
She has legislative experience: she has been the Chairperson of the Board of Assessment Appeals from 2017 to 2026.
She has business experience: she has managed a non-profit, dedicated to helping individuals with AIDS/HIV and their children; she was a Human Resources and Benefits Administrator for a large 7,000 employee company. In addition she has worked as a behavioral therapist in Fairfield County.
She has dedicated herself to three critical issues: to protect and fully fund our public schools; to protect and expand access to healthcare; and to bring prices down to a reasonable level again.
In addition, she believes that we need to get back to a time of civility and accountability, a time that feels so long ago, doesn’t it?
I couldn’t agree more with her and she has my vote! Please make sure she has yours too.
